For those of you who saw i4c4lo rigs in pictures (or in person) might feel envy or small for being so far being comparing with his 100 series with yours.
Well, you're all damn lucky!
I am the one who had to go thru unusual & cruel punishment of seeing his highly modified and very capable rig almost daily. Sigh but proud.

Very nice, balanced, and trail worthy rig. You have certainly set the bar high for ROTM.
Very NICE!!! Lot of ideas here I hope to incorporate in the future!

Yes it is backwards. hehehe - The way I had the mounting done - ROOKIE! minor detail
I did had to get pulled and I had to zip tie the tow strap for it to stay in place

The photo was taken on Slick Rock Trail - its around Bear Valley (ski resort) off CA Highway 4 - Ebetts Pass. This particular trail has claimed two 100 Series front diff

Amando..missed seeing you and Demi in DV....nice write-up. The only problem is I was supposed to be before you so my 100 didn't get an inferiority complex

This is one of my favorite photos - Death Valley with James (FirstToy)- my truck dead. Had to spend the night on the side of this trail.
The reason the truck died/dies - when I am off-road and lots of sloshing around with the gas - gaining altitude - I would get so much vapor from the two tanks that there is too much air in the system that the car will cut out - if the truck is running downhill its runs - but uphill the motor dies.
Gas door and cap is off at this point. Following morning - once James towed me and got me turned around and the truck was pointing downhill it was as smooth as ever. I left James at Balarat for the NorCal 80 to swing around and I went to the Toyota Dealer in Ridgcrest CA. They couldn't duplicate the problem the check engine light codes were just mis-fires. To this day - it still happens so I have to vent the gas tank often when I am off-road and gaining altitude. I am dropping the 2nd tank in a couple of weeks and change all the hoses and triple check everything.

I noticed in some of the picks you have an ARB roof rack and some pics you have an AO rack. I'm guessing from the dating of some of the picks you had the ARB first then the AO. Is there any particular reason you didn't stay with the ARB?

The ARB was borrowed from a friend (mthomp6)- it was heavy and strong. The AO is a lot lighter and you can take the rails off so it can be flat - the roof top tent can mount on the AO rack - all though I think load bars will be easier with the roof top tent. I had to drill holes on the rack to mount the tent but I ike having the tent on a flat surface on the rack itself.

Thanks for the photos! You're right they are good times - except for that shot in Pismo, you are in all those trips!! Moab, Death Valley, Rubicon, Slick Rock, Strawberry .... that also means, there was excellent food and at least once you and I complain that our stomach hurts from laughing

Got a question for you regarding the fox shocks. I've been thinking of getting some myself. Did you go with the 2.0's or the 2.5's and are you running them front and rear or just in the front?
