C-dog,

No adapter, we looked into it but it will make the shock that much shorter - so we just cut off the top and welded a new piece in there. Just a sawzall - it will be easy to put it back I suppose but with this shock it rides so much better and the shock is also rebuildable.

Very nice. I'm glad you did this, as I've been wanting so badly to do so myself.

I'd love to fit a 2.5" shock. Do you see potential clearance issues?

Calamaridog,

Sorry for the delayed response. Yes there will be some clearance isues, as it is with the 2.0 its pretty tight. I mean there is room now with the current setup with the 2.5 it will even be tighter.

Sway-Away Racerunner shocks offers a 2.0, 2.25, and 2.5" shock with 6" of travel and with or without remote reservoir. I was thinking along this line possibly.

It sounds like the only sure way to clear a larger body than the 2.0 might be a custom upper arm.

Of course, custom upper arms with a uni-ball may also allow for a smoother and slightly longer range of travel...

Of course I just broke the bank too;)

Hi,

Just browsing over the old featured rigs - where are the pics for this one, they seem to have become disconnected.

yes, an expired web site IIRC, but he said he would fix it. Those were great!
