They are 2.0's and I am running just the front - the rear is a little more complicated with the 2nd gas tank back there - the space is really tight. We are trying to figure it out and will do it soon.

This thread is why I need a 2nd 100...wife stole the first one

I have question for you. Before you put in the S/C, did you have to address anything?

I know on the 80s the cooling system needs to be addressed before putting on the S/C.

Up til now I didn't know 100s can have superchargers. Now I can't wait to get one.

Your rig is definitely ROTM worthy.

How did you get thru all those trips without L shocks?!

Respectfully: In AZ....we're 2 for 2 on 100's who went from 100 shocks to N74L after running trails with me. Both have stated huge improvements after the change. It's not rocket science that a longer shock helps off-road. It sounds like Amando is trying to improve his rear shock too based on his comment above. To discredit the improvement without real-life experience misleads others.

If you'd like an email to another source who made the change, you can PM me. He can explain in his own words his experience with both shocks.

This is one awesome rig. Hopefully, when my 100 gets old too, it will look at least a bit like yours.

John,

With all due respect - you have believers in your mod with the L shock - that you gain 2.6" with it - then you have the people that thinks/knows that .6" gain is not going to do much - I think that there is enough threads or comments from you and others about this particualr mod and its getting really old. You have 2 for 2 in AZ that's great - I personally will not be going this route. So can we please kindly drop this? At least on this thread. Thanks.

Amando

Barro,

That's Amando secret tow hook.

Saludos

Alvaro

A very nice truck! When my 100 grows up it wants to be like yours ;)

Just a question: Is it me or in this picture the tow hook is reversed?

That is the on and off button to my "flux capacitor" shhhh

It gives me "2.1 gigawatt" of power with the TRD s/c :D

Exceptional Cruiser

What an awesome rig!
Well thought out in every respect. Thanks for sharing your hard work and unique designs.
She’s surely a battle hardened black hearted bitch on any trail.

By far my favorite pic of your ROTM

Anyone who puts a 100 in that type of "situation" deserves huge props in my book

Thanks for sharing 4Lo , a truly impressive rig .

I must say that when the 80 series came out, I couldn't stand the look, when the 100 came out it was even a bigger disappointment to me.

But over time I've come to understand the ability of a built 80 and now the 100 series thanks to your 100 and a few others on this board. As for the looks, I actually have warmed up to the lines of the 100 understanding that we'll never see the square bodies of the 40 and 55 series again.

Your rig is not only some nice eye candy but is obviously quite well built and capable. It is one of the reasons I'm currently just maintaining my 60 and not building it further while looking for a 100 to start building up.

Awesome rig and great inspiration, way to keep the spirit of the older rigs alive in the new platform  .

I deleted several posts here because the discussion got sidetracked and nasty and not appropriate for a Featured100 thread IMO, despite a request from Amando to take it somewhere else.

I suggest that anybody who had a post deleted and feels that their technical (!) points are worth discussing further should start a dedicated thread focusing on these technical points. Those who wish to vent or address personal issues should do this by PM.

Please be considerate of the format of this "Featured 100" venue. Sharp disagreements about technical issues are best left to regular threads and of course should remain civil there as well.

that is truly an amazing photo. Most folks out there (including me) would think it is utterly completely physically impossible for a "real" truck to get through that unscathed...

Cool rig! I love that rear fuel tank, only question I have is; DO you need a 2nd mortgage to fill both tanks these days? :grinpimp:

BTW, how did you get in this spot? Drive over the front rocks?

No man - Bliksum called with your credit card number! hehehe :grinpimp:

When I had the 2nd tank built directly through LRA - I asked them to weld a second bottom as my built in skid plate - I figured it was hanging way back there - also they only wanted $50 AUS hehehe - cheap skid plate!
