Ok, after 6 reciprocating saw blades and 2 four inch grinder disks and about 10 hours of cutting and grinding, the step plates are removed! Grinding really sucks! I do have good news, I got really great customer service from Slee. Christo is sending me some of the new design step plates! I'm going to weld in new brackets to hold them on, can't wait to get these done!

Woo Hoo! 300 lbs of Ingersoll Rand goodness showed up today! I can't wait to get it hooked up this weekend so I can use my sander To finish sanding my sliders before they go to the powder coater.

^ That is very cool. I almost posted up that you should see if the new style step plates would work with your sliders and if they could be purchased separately. Sounds like its all coming together. Keep up the good work.

Awesome! I am totally about jump into the deep end of the compressed air tools pool. I just need to expand my garage first.

You will love it! Impact guns, air ratchets, sanders, cut off wheels, airing up your tires, there's just so many things that are easier with a good compressor. Even blowing all the dust off your clothes is great.

My last compressor died and I used the opportunity to get one that fit in my garage better. The old one had an 80 gallon horizontal tank and it took up a ton of floor space. This new one is a 60 gallon vertical tank and it fits like a glove in the corner.

This also gave me motivation to clean up the garage and get my workbench sorted out. My old compressor sat in the corner and I had built a workbench over top of it.

Now I have the workbench across the back wall and all my larger tools and compressor are against the wall where my workbench used to be. This layout works a lot better and it feels like I have more space now. I still have to install the rest of my flourescant lights.

Update: sliders are glass-blasted and Powder coated. I went with black textured pc instead of smooth, turned out really nice. Now they are at LineX getting the mounting arms coated. Also having them LineX the wing brackets for the Slee rear bumper. Took the rear bumper off, cleaned up a little rust around the trailer hitch, and put a coat of primer on it. Hopefully have the sliders and bumpers back on next week.

Sliders are back and installed! You can see where the mounting arms have been Line-X'd. Hopefully no rust for a long time. I'm actually digging the open steps for now but will probably add the new step plates that Christo sent me.

Got the rear bumper painted and installed! I had the brackets that connect the frame to the wings of the bumper Line-X'd since they were covered in rust. They turned out nice, should hold up well.

The new Slee Blueberry bumper showed up along with an IBS battery mgnt system and 2nd battery tray. Got the new bumper installed, it fits well and I was able to get it lined up right, I'm loving it!

I'm not sure about the Hella 4000's, they look a little out of proportion on this bumper compared to my old ARB bumper with the full brush guard on top. Might have to add an LED light bar or at least some smaller lights. Any opinions?

Love the bumper! I don't think the lights look bad at all...... but they are big. An LED light bar would look awesome!

Just got my 100 back and can’t be more pleased. I had a local car audio company (Roberts Car Audio in Louisville, KY) install new JL Audio speakers, amp, and digital eq/IPod interface. Along with that, I had them do a number of electrical jobs that I have wanted done for some time now.

First is the stereo upgrades:
1. JL Audio TR650-CSI component speakers up front
2. JL Audio C2-650X coaxial speakers in rear doors
3. JL Audio M700/5 digital amplifier (marine grade)
4. JL Audio 8W3V3 8” ported sub
5. JL Audio CL441DSP Clean Sweep DSP

On the speakers, they built custom mdf speaker mounts/adapters to fit the speakers in the doors. The pic shows one of the rear speakers mounted in the new speaker mount wrapped in black felt. The amp and Clean Sweep were mounted in the rear cargo area on the driver’s side in the space previously filled by the factory sub.

The Clean Sweep is pretty cool. It processes/equalizes the signal from the factory head unit and it also allows for an additional input. I had them install a dual cable that has both IPod and headphone connectors in the center console. There is no interface to the factory system when using an IPod; the volume has to be controlled from a secondary volume knob when using the IPod because the signal is coming in after the factory head unit.

Here is the new volume control knob for the Clean Sweep. It also controls the input by pushing in on it. When it is showing green it is playing the Ipod, when it is showing red it is playing whatever is on the factory head unit. The sound is amazing; the digital processing really cleans up the sound nicely from all sources (Radio, CD, and IPod).

I also had them make all the connections for the IBS dual battery management system. They upgraded all of the factory ground wires (body, frame, and engine) as well as the wires to the starter battery and alternator. They also ran heavy duty wire to the auxiliary battery, to the 150 amp breaker and then back to the fuse block in the rear cargo area. The JL Audio amp and Clean Sweep are connected to the rear fuse block. I also plan to install an air compressor and power inverter so the wiring has been run to the fuse block to make easy connections once I install the new gear. Note the last pic with coiled wires, just need to connect to additional gear and add fuse.

The factory 12 volt outlet in the rear has been rewired to be constantly powered to the rear fuse block along with 2 additional outlets that were added to the rear cup holder area. All 3 of these outlets are on one fuse. A dedicated 12 volt outlet was added to the passenger side wall for the Waeco CF50 fridge.

Dual LED lights were mounted to the rear lift gate trim and then the wire was run through the factory wiring boot into the rear cargo area and down to the fuse block. A simple toggle switch was added to control the lights easily.

My Cobra CB was mounted half-assed for a long time so this was also installed properly. The base module was installed in the center console and the mic wire was run out the side. The mic now hangs from a Slee CB mount on the dash. The antenna wire was run through the firewall out to the front bumper.

All of the electronics that have been added or will be added in the future all draw from the auxiliary battery to ensure no issues with the starter battery.

man that is some clean looking work. So those amps won't overheat behind the plastic quarter panel? I always heard that they had to have more air than what I would think they will get with your set up.

I am not sharp shooting as I would love to mount mine like you have. love the rig!
