Strange sickness you have wanting one of these. You're gonna need a bigger shop!
They seem huge, but if you look in person, they're shorter and narrower than a one ton double cab pickup. As I'm looking at double cab pick-ups or full size SUVs that can tow, this is actually not a ridiculous alternative. But clearly the firetruck versions will need some investment like a regular box.

Rather nice. 120km bj60 from a private island.

Link doesn't seem to want to load for some reason.

The first link worked. Given the recent prices, $23,000 for a rust free low mileage 60 (with turbo and an intercooler) seems quite reasonable. It almost sounds too reasonable... but it looks like a real account.

First link is after I went on the computer and cut and pasted address bar. For whatever reason, the share button was being a Canute...I'd go back and delete but I'm still mad at it 🤣

And yeah, it's nice to see there's still the odd survivor out there, assuming it is in fact legit.

‘79 FJ40 hardtop. This is a good deal.

1989 Reg Cab $13K Seems like a good rig well taken care of

Good thing someone is winning. Right now I just couldn't put a FS sign on either of my trucks.
As a guy at work says, time I got money I don't.

Sick BJ60!!! Kinda tempting if the mileage is that low. Too bad it wasn't an 1983.

Just curious why the head gasket was replaced and tranny rebuilt with such low kms?

Spent 22g on both the BJ40 and Bandierante. Sold the BJ40 for 26g. So now I have a free Bandierante and Dump truck. Minus the 200 hours or more I put into the BJ40. Winning???
I looked it up.

I think you're good.👍

Sold my 1908 industrial sewing machine yesterday. Paid $50 as a basket case, had about $100 into it + some time… sold it for $200. Winning? If I paid myself $5 an hour.

Now have an almost mint 1938 Singer that was $35… :D I may sell it eventually, but it’ll sew thin material that the walking foot won’t currently.

And a 2000ish +/- a decade Seiko walking foot machine that was $500. The latest revision sells for $3500 USD new. Used they are $1800-2000 USD on eBay, and one sold locally on marketplace (asking price was $2000).

So I think I’m also winning. If I was keeping score.

Which you clearly are, however none of that is even remotely as cool as a free Bandeirante.
As cool as a Japanese made walking foot sewing machine that’s designed to sew medium to heavy (3/8”+) material, it doesn’t come close to any Landcruiser 40 series.., especially a 43. I know technically it’s a Bandeirante… but it’s still a Landcruiser as far as I’m concerned. Not as good as any Landcruiser… with the possible exception of a Parado (only because its diesel engine isn’t up to the standard as other Toyota diesels). Sorry @GTSSportCoupe as much as you have accomplished with the diesel engine in your truck it’s not as tough as a 13BT.

Well the bandeirante has a 3b and the dump truck has a 13b so pretty f-ing cool.

Soon to get some turbos. Anybody hoarding any T3’s?

This is crushing, I really had no idea.

Kidding. I improved the motor not because I liked it or thought it was awesome, but because it was the only 4 door 70 series cruiser I could afford at the time. Did my best to it to make it do what I needed.

200 series is on the horizon now....
