My neighbor is in the smokin' oldies car club. So some nice ones show up fairly often.
Impractical car I'm thinking of is more like a 914 or bug, mr2 etc.
But that's not till after we redo the mortgage next year, after which I'll know how much life will cost.
Be nice if the rates dropped a bit more before

We are fortunate to have property… I saw a 2 bedroom that they were asking $3400/month for. There’s no way our household could buy with today’s prices.
I believe prices up your way are slightly more reasonable, but not by a ton. Here it’s getting harder to find a house for less than 1000k and that’s if you don’t mind living on a busy road and want a fixer upper.
People are like ****ing termites. Everywhere I go it's subdivide subdivide. They just can't leave it alone. I'm all for the density in cities , so they leave the rural areas alone.
Only thing stopping our area from being totally ruined is the yellow point rule about no parcels smaller than 5 acres, but I can only imagine how many developers are pestering and bribing to get that knocked down.
Sandstone is the nail in this areas coffin when it starts. We'll be headed further north when that happens I imagine.

I just got kicked out of FB. The day I signed up I was in Bakersfield. Had a whole bunch of online stuff I’d was doing, usernames, passwords and other stuff. Got a call, blasted off for Texas and totally forgot all the notes on that paper, everything got tossed. So I have no idea on my password or username for two accounts. LOL.

I feel like I’ve seen a lot of good Toyota trucks be parted out due to frame rust. Maybe it’s not as bad as it looks.
