Hows your radio reception with the antenna mounted like that? I do listen to FM radio at times but don't need great reception, just OK reception for in town stations, etc.
 
Would love one but have a feeling that shipping to the UK would be prohibitively expensive :(

Just about perfect. The quality of the antenna has a lot more to do with the reception than the location.

friendly bump, just got mine and am very happy, jeff is great to work with! he even expressed shipment as some stuff was backordered. The kit comes with all necessary bits to install which is so nice. The quality of the plastic is very nice as should be expected from a toyota factory part.

I layed the snorkel up to the truck tonight and it really looks great. Fits perfect on my rig with the roof rack, etc. Just love the look of it.
