Amazing thanks Dwight! That is a huge help.
I did the brakes file yesterday as thats the one I was looking at. I noticed a few repeated pages in it too.

I could really use an electronic copy of the 2007 FSM. Anyone:coffee:

The 2007 has so many changes from the 00-02 series and many from the 03-05, most notable the VVti. That I must have one for my current project.

I paid for the online FSM access in November while I was fighting my TB. I spent too much time print to pdf-ing different pages, seriously like over 15 hours and its not a complete copy. The tricky part about how the FSM is set up is that there are a million links within each section that take you to another section for cross referencing. I had kind of thought that I'd build a simple html page and include the inter links but haven't touched it and don't know if I will.

Are you looking for anything in particular or just whatever you can get your hands on. I don't have any of the electrical stuff because its all interactive and didn't lead to printing well.

At this point anything I can get my hands on.

The 2007 I just picked up appears to be fully loaded, and I see enough difference I'll have a learning curve. So anything will help.

None of my FSM (00 & 04) electronic "reference link's" work, which is not a big deal. My favorite copy, is an 04 FSM that is one pdf., making searching a breeze.

I did the alldata for my 98 lx. Already have it for my volvo so got the additional vehicle discount. I havent seen a full 98 lx470 manual floating around here but would love to have a copy myself. I saw one on ebay for over $200....

I'd really like to have hard copy as well as electronic version. Seems' I saw $100, but was prob. older yr. .

I've been in the look out for all 4 volumes, 06 or 07, I think there's four. They're hard to find. I've budgeted $400 for all. Right now I settle for the 2006 EWD and the online 2004 fsm online. I have a hard time paying for paper, 4 bills buys a fair amount of parts.

For the 06 LX, it seems that there are both 3 volume and 4 volume versions. I bought a 3 volume version, and saw a volume 4 available and purchased it. It seems to be a duplicate of what I've already got. I haven't seen a full 4 volume set to see exactly what is different between the 3 vs 4 volume sets.

I really hope someone here has a completed 07 (06 07) FSM pdf (electronic) file they can share.;) Even partial FSM would be great.

I'd like a pdf as one continuous file, there great for searching. For the shop I like hard copy, which also works well to solve insomnia... LOL.

Manuals do pay for themselves as do tools. At some point I'll buy a full hard copy set, as I did for my 01. Just right now I've stretched my hobby budget buying this 07, and need to title, plate and insure, those expenses that really eat into my restoration budget.:crybaby:

Pay the $15 and compile it yourself:

Toyota TIS download tips

Then you can make it available for others.
Thanks for the suggestion & link TM.

Someone ^^^ (I don't like to give names) has done this and shared with me. Also I've used TIS once, quite some time ago. I found it to be more a general knowledge based, from what I recall. Whereas the FSM is specific to year & model. Perhaps I'm wrong, if so, please someone let me know?

I've been able to use my ~$400 library of FSM for 98-02 and most 03-05 stuff. But I don't think it will work here or I dare use until I compare. I'm seeing things; like a device under intake that I can only guess what it is. Even the air intake box/tube & throttle body are different, and the plastic intake manifold is space age. In just taking off shielding I found insulation on engine cover and improvements in bolts design with their thick washers holding on #1 & #2 under shields. According to the history of 2UZ-fe even the oil system for cylinder walls has change. So it has be coming apparent to me, there are many more difference beyond the VVTi heads & intake.

If you look on the main page of TIS it lists repair manuals as part of the standard membership. Long ago a Mud member wrote a DOS program that would auto download all of the FSM sections of a given make and model. Worked really well, he'd posted in the 80 section for quite some time. Then TIS changed something that the automatic programming wouldn't work. Anyway, it's there.

I'll give it another look.

Yep that's it. Is it the air pump thingy so many have issue with and bypassed? How it workout for you?
Darn look at all that stuff. Is that the secondary air pump on the back, what a monstrosity as you said.

I hope I didn't cause any issue with it today washing my engine.... I may have a small coolant leak at front bypass. If so, It looks as if I'll need to pull the intake to get at it. Is that thing serviceable?

@jerry I more thing, I see oil grit next to intake port on along out sides. I assume your intake manifolds were also oily and gritty on plastic intake tubes at this point and higher, it's what I washed off. Any idea where this is coming from?

I'm sure mine is not from head cover gaskets. One thought I had today while washing, is it's possibly from fuel injector lower seal(s). But not sure if that is even possible given the positive vacuum in port.
