Factory navagation and Cd upgrades?

Guys just a question if you replace the whole navagation unit and add a new unit with rear camera ,new navigation, Cd etc a pioneer or alpine a you still able to run the climate control of the new unit or its not possible. Thanks .

It's more involved than just swapping out the stereo. There are tons of posts in this forum on the subject.

Im still evaluating the ups & downs of a 10" android car-pc replacement in my '03 100 series. for me the $550 change is net-positive although it required a bit of dexterity. Im preparing a project write-up with pics & will post something soon.
