Easier, Maybe. If your going to narrow a 60 frtend,then it's about the same amount of work. The beauty of the certain ford frtends, 44's & 60's is that they are high pinion, stronger, and when people realize what you have done, it leaves them scratcing their head. Sort of a cool factor.

We have altered a couple of ford frtends to pass drop 60's &44's. In the near future we are doing another 44.


I ran across this article yrs ago and we gave it a try.

BC4x4.COM four wheel drive, 4x4, offroad and fourwheeling site.

We kept the rotors and such stk 8 lug on the 60 and the 44's bolt patterns can be changed by using stk parts. Just takes some time and reseach to find the right parts and the various different HP 44 frtend available. Some are better than others and there are some you should'nt use.
