Rebuilding my Aug 72 FJ40 carb and discovered that the carb is missing the parts for the high speed valve stop lever. Found the part numbers needed but TPD says they are discontinued. Any ideas of where I might be able to find new or used? Thanks.

That certainly looks like the right size.

There are two different sizes. Want to make sure that you get the correct one. I'll post pics later today.

One is M5 and one is M6. Guessing yours is M6. $10 shipped

That lever goes into the larger of the two holes, do you by chance have the smaller lever/spring that goes in the smaller hole (where the M5 goes)?

Sent a pm. I do not think your model had the lever with the spring. I have only seen that on earlier carbs (circa '69).

1972 FJ40 carb help

I have rebuilt the carb on a 72 FJ40 that I am trying to fix up for a friend and keep having issues. The tag says it's a 60205, which looks like a 73 to me when I look up numbers, maybe it doesn't make a difference. I would just buy a new one but none of the carbs I have seen photos of look like...
