This is not an ad, and I am not affiliated with this seller. I found what may be a complete unicorn of a 100 series. ( GCC spec)

V8 w/ Manual Trans. the info tag on it says H151F. This is the first time that I have ever seen a Gas V8 w/ a manual. I actually didn't even think it was an option, and I didn't know the H151F had a bellhousing that fit the 2uz. Is this news to anyone else? To boot, this one has is LHD, has AHC, factory winch, Dual Fuel tanks AND the rear locker. Truly a god spec 100 series in my opinion. Extremely expensive for what it is, but i can see why

Interesting, I thought that the GCC-spec Hundys had the 1FZ motor.

That same shop (Car Cave in Aiken SC) has had at least one other GCC Cruiser pass through, this 80 series:

Wow a 3-pedal Hundy. Rare indeed, but not sure about the cost benefit. This one is not exactly in collector condition, so you’re either daily-driving or wheeling at a 2X premium, or investing another 50% into a proper restoration. But I just found out there is a market for $1800 NOS floor mats, so apparently every driver’s seat has a butt somewhere.

(I love the extra $28.94 tacked on for shipping 🙄. Gotta offset that lean margin).

This is unfortunately an example of how unicorns skew the market for 100s. The comps on classic.com reflect a range of $6,400 to $46,000, but with a median of only about $14,000. Feels like many sellers think they have the next FJ40 on their hands when in reality you need to toss out the garage queens and oddball JDM/GCC imports.

That's pretty cool, I'd love to drive it and see how a 2UZ-FE does with a manual! That said, $36K with that mileage?

Very interesting news ! In 5+ years of looking at 100 series for sale , this is the first 2uz manual I have seen. Up h til now I thought the manual was only avail with the gutless 1Fz

I might cash out some of my 401k and buy it 😂

Took a quick look. Maybe not that rare in the middle east. This one has been ridden hard and put up wet but it is a 2000, V8, manual.

Another one:

Pretty nice one:

Black one; kinda rare for Saudi. 100 and 200 series were mostly white:

Well you get the idea; maybe not so rare.

Well thank you excessive, I found that very interesting and educational. I had no idea this version existed in the world. Not that I had actually given it any thought to begin with... :) .

Very cool indeed but the prices in the used vehicle market are so f****ed lately ... 25+ year old cars with 150+k miles should not cost that much money, but then again it's only worth what someone will pay for it, and I bet someone will buy it up ( maybe Excesive lol )

>> Shoot I see some new sideXsides going for like $40k or more nowadays so I guess maybe this isn't a bad deal , just depends on how you look at it. The more I think about it, the more I want it

That is definitely GCC spec, down to the tire swing accessory. LC 100's are not cheap over there either, they are collectors and enthusiasts like us in the US and our Australian friends. But someone made a poor choice to import that one, lots of better options available. (I plan on importing one at some point, and have kicked plenty of tires in Doha).
