Reviving an older thread here which inspired me to source parts to do a H152 swap into my 94 1FZFE.

Has anyone who's done this installed the boosted clutch pedal assembly, and if so how was it?

I bought one used a while ago, and the plate that bolts/mates up to the firewall is quite different than others I've seen.
Most people go with the non-boosted spring assisted pedal, which I believe has a smaller footprint and only 2 bolt slots. My one has 4.

Glad the thread was helpful. I’ve never seen a boosted assembly actually installed so I can’t help much there. All I can say is that the non-boosted version the linkage is essentially a “cam” and the pedal feel on a stock clutch is very light. It’s easy to push it in and hold it, lighter than the stock clutch behind a 22RE truck is my guess

All good, I'm planning on keeping the booster and seeing how it goes. I've read that it is possible to delete the booster, but the clutch would be heavier of course. More concerning would be the added stress on the firewall sheet metal.

Any thoughts on the raised ridges on the pedal plate and if that would be a problem (see the 2nd pic)?
There are no corresponding ridges on the firewall, so if I leave it as is, there would be a gap between the pedal bracket and the firewall when it's bolted up. Hope that makes sense.

It makes sense. I’m not sure really, it’d be interesting to know if factory equipped booster trucks had different firewalls, my guess is no

And looking at your pics again, your boosted pedal assembly is WAY different from the non-boosted. As in, no cam mechanism for extra leverage on the clutch

If you're considering deleting the booster later, don't install it now and use a non-boosted clutch pedal.
The boosted pedal doesn't give the mechanical advantage that the non-boosted pedal does and gives a much heavier pedal non-boosted than the factory, non-booster pedal.
