Just as a matter of interest would a 2008 landcruiser 200 v8 4.7 fit a 2003 landcruiser 100 as a straight swap

If it's the 2UZ, it should. Maybe have some accessory or pan changes. 2008 in the US moved to the 5.7.

I don’t know enough about the non-US models, but if the 200 series 2UZFE is VVTI, it could complicate things by trying to install it in a non-VVTI 100 series.

A lot of the wiring places wont even entertain a stand alone harness for that thing but maybe an easier route would be to take the whole drivetrain?
