Hey guys,

My brothers 1999 100 series randomly shuts down when in drive. It happens in High and Low range. When stopped in traffic, on a trail, or most recently just when you let off the throttle on the highway (current location). CEL and A/T OIL TEMP come on, and the red battery in the left corner. When it happens, rpms drop to nothing and throttle is no good. Seems to happen between 2000-0 rpms. Throttle does seems to have a more delayed response than what feels Normal for a car or at least my 80.

Car starts up after ten or so minutes

Codes thrown are - PO75 - Input/ turbine speed Sensor A

and previously a fuel mixture too lean code

Please help.

I'd also check for pending codes, throttle response if it's all or none sounds like a coil pack.

Fuel system vapor lock? My 100has done it a few times in hot weather.

Assuming battery is good, I would troubleshoot the coils and spark plugs first based from the symptom and DTC you shared. Check for burnt mark on the spark plugs, that should give you a tell tale if the coil is due for replacement.
