Engine mounts

Hi there, does anyone know if the 100 series has the same engine mounts as a 75 series? Or are they in the same place

The engine mounts will be based on the engine. I assume you’re contemplating an engine swap which I am doing now. I can tell you the 2H mounts are drastically different than the 1HZ and I’m having to fabricate new mounts. So while I do not know specifics I would bet a lot of money on a “no” answer.

unless the donor frame is trash, please consider just ordering new frame mounts from Toyota. Should still be in system (overseas) for 70 series.

Okay so I’m putting a 2UZ into my 75 series and trying to working out the mounting situation for my mechanic. So, if I’m correct, you match the mounts to the engine?

Why didn’t you just buy new frame mounts and the engine mounts for a HZJ75?

Toyota frame mounts are available. About $65 per side.
Chop out the old ones, weld in the new ones. I wouldn't reuse the ones you chopped out, they'll get mangled and it might look sloppy.
This is all assuming the mounting location is much different than the ones in there now.

That seems relatively painless, and yes I’d buy new mounts to weld
