Hey guys I enjoyed working on this truck a bit more than I enjoy driving it. I think I am going back an 80 series.
For sale:
1989 Fj62, 225k miles,
Price: $16,500
Location: Enfield, CT
Rebuilt transmission, new belt, new radiator and thermostat, rebuilt breaks and new lines, new windshield and seal front and back, new mirrors, new carpet, insulation and sound deadning, new door skins (will include OEM ones that are in good condition), after market head unit with Android Auto and Apple car play, waterproof molded floor mats, new lights all around (I have a set of torfab led lights I'll throw in with it), new mirrors, rear steal bumper with tire carrier and ladder, I'll add an awning and a roof rack as well. Recent oil and filter change. OME lift. New exhaust gaskets.
I removed all the rust, and repaired over the course of 3 months this summer/fall.
Start and runs great, heat works well. The only thing that doesn't work is the horn.
The paint is a self attempted respray(original color), 2 toned with bed liner. It's a 15 footer for sure. I will be undercoating it soon.
This is not a show car but it's ready to be daily driven without major issues.
