I have taken apart my dash and console a couple times now on my 97 fzj80 and I have noticed that there is alot of empty wiring harnesses. Does anyone know if these can be utilized. I have seen people put in Fog light switches center diff lock switches ect. and I was wonder if I could easily do any of that.

Sure.. if you have automotive 12vdc knowledge and the electrical factory service manual as a guide and reference.
Get a copy of the FSM and the EWD manuals from the "resources" section above and start reading what each plug is and what its intent was, then figure out how to use or repurpose.
Document it, then post it here, for others, like yourself, to glean information from.
