How sacrilegious would it be to go for an electric motor on my '67 FJ45LV?
I am planning to fully restore my LV next year ( want to make it a daily driver, not a crawler) and I've been following @ElectricGT development of an electric "crate engine" for the FJ40.

Any opinions on this? Will Kiichiro Toyoda turn in his grave? Any pros and cons?

Look at this for a platform......

Cons
All these restomods are not economical wether a V8 or your electrical choice.

Pro
You can marry Greta.
:)

Buy a small electric driven car as your DD and keep the 45LV as is.
A new car (DD) is safer than all the modified old one .

Plenty of room for all the batteries you’ll need to get to the end of your block and back.

If $ were irrelevant:) Dual Tesla drive units with portal axles and a P100 pack:). Or Cascadia motor/controller to drive straight to the T-case..... or the crate set-up with the dual Hyper 9 motors.... Neat project in any case.
