Hello again..They tried contacting me when??? My cell is with me 24/7, I am on a computer 14 hours a day... was it a carrier pigeon that couldn't find my office?
This is crazy...
Like I told you before, when the shipping company told ARB they were offloading our crate in Long Beach, ARB told them to not re-send it to Seattle but to truck it to Dallas as it would have been as cheap if not cheaper. That was a good call.
Right now, it's not even on the ground!!!
Don't mean to shout, but getting an email reply from you has been difficult, I have to drag the details out over the course of three emails to figure out what the heck is really going on and we end up in circles.
My group has been incredibly patient over the last year (link to timeline), and I would like to end this on good terms, but this is silly.
Soo.... Why isn't the stuff on the ground? What is the ETA? When are you gonna send me a name and number of this "mystery person" who has been so diligently trying to contact me?
I have a headache...
I have recieved a response from the company as follows a couple of hours ago..
Dear Ehsan,
Container arrived on March 1st in Los Angeles, right now cargo in Custom Vacis Examination. it will arrive in Seattle on March 13th.
We give you contact detail after receive from our counter part.
Regards,
Sadiq
We decided since the destination hasn't change, when it arrived to Seattle, We'll arranged for a truck to truck it down to Dallas. Right now we're just going through quote.
Tell TR to pick up the damn phone!Just let me know when it gets close and I will hijack it for safe keeping!!!
Heading down to ARB today for some parts. I will see if it is around
Thank god we know where it is and where it will go.. Finally. The shipping costs will be paid here in Pakistan.. You will have to wire the money to me. I did not mention the costs as I did not want to burden you with more problems. I will email you the amount later today.Okay guys, everything is fine. Looks like the stuff is en route to Seattle.
Once it drops there, Mitch Carter (ARB's broker) will take charge of it. The shipping company will not be forwarding it anywhere.
TR's dad is the warehouse manager & shipping director at ARB, he will be assisting us.
Here's a hang-up... TR is going to be with me here in Texas all week and won't be back to work until Monday the 19th, so that week is the earliest we'll be able to break the container down and start seperating things for shipping.
That is, of course, if everything goes like clockwork...
I appreciate the offer on the shipping costs, but I haven't got a clue what they are or how we are gonna be billed.
If it's like everything else, it will be a complete surprise at the dock and they are gonna want ARB to cough up a check... I'm still waiting to find out.
LOL! Letting me know the amount due isn't a burden, it's something I've needed to know!Thank god we know where it is and where it will go.. Finally. The shipping costs will be paid here in Pakistan.. Thanks
Ehsan

We should wait until the shipment arrives at it's final destination (whereever that will be) in good form before doing anything, in case there's further mix-up or a claim or anything.
