They tried contacting me when??? My cell is with me 24/7, I am on a computer 14 hours a day... was it a carrier pigeon that couldn't find my office?

This is crazy...

Like I told you before, when the shipping company told ARB they were offloading our crate in Long Beach, ARB told them to not re-send it to Seattle but to truck it to Dallas as it would have been as cheap if not cheaper. That was a good call.

Right now, it's not even on the ground!!!

Don't mean to shout, but getting an email reply from you has been difficult, I have to drag the details out over the course of three emails to figure out what the heck is really going on and we end up in circles.

My group has been incredibly patient over the last year (link to timeline), and I would like to end this on good terms, but this is silly.

Soo.... Why isn't the stuff on the ground? What is the ETA? When are you gonna send me a name and number of this "mystery person" who has been so diligently trying to contact me?

I have a headache...
Hello again..
I was not trying to offend you in any way if that is what you felt. I just passed on the information I got from the shipping company. There is some confusion in what has happened during shipping and I am not blaming you for it. I have repeatedly been in contact with the shipping company and they had told me that SOMEONE was trying to contact you but could not.. This was the day when we exchanged SMS messages. I have recieved a response from the company as follows a couple of hours ago..

Dear Ehsan,
Container arrived on March 1st in Los Angeles, right now cargo in Custom Vacis Examination. it will arrive in Seattle on March 13th.
We give you contact detail after receive from our counter part.
Regards,
Sadiq

So I dont know what is going on. The shippment was originally bound for Seattle. I am pressing hard to get the contact info for the person responsible for the ****ainer in the States and will pass that on as soon as I have it. Please understand that sitting here, this is the best I can do. Please let me know what else I can do and I will do it. Trust me that I am having a big headache as well. The shipping company must have done something wrong here.
Thanks
Ehsan

Hell, at this point if they send it to Seattle that's fine by me... as long as it's in the United States and someone I know (ARB or myself) gets hands on it everything will work out. :)

We'll see where it is on Tuesday the 13th!

No hard feelings at all... :)

Seattle is better for me. I was hoping to arrange to pick up my top while visiting Washington to save some shipping cost. If it goes to Texas, well whatever. I'm in regardless.

One patient customer = one vote. ;)

I have some stuff from Ehsan and I believe that it's worth waiting for. If Ehsan can grow his business a little, maybe he can find a better/quicker way of getting it across the ocean. I know it's frustrating for him too. We need to think of something nice to do for Chris and his helpers in Seattle. No telling how much time and angst he has in on this. Thanks again Chris.

Hello there
I just got a reply from the shipping company as below..
Dear Ehsan,

Please see below message received from our counter part.

Quote

The consignee phone # is (425) xxxxxxxxxxx
Fax # (425) xxxxxxxxxx

The Broker Phone # is (253) xxxxxxxxxx

Fax# is (253) xxxxxxxxx his name is Mitch

In this case it's better to contact the broker he knows more about the shipment. We decided since the destination hasn't change, when it arrived to Seattle, We'll arranged for a truck to truck it down to Dallas. Right now we're just going through quote.

The consignee basically leaves it to the broker to make the deices

valkyrie610 I am still confused. I am Sending you the phone numbers via PM. Let us all know what the guy says..

I don't understand why it has to be trucked to Texas after arriving in Seattle?

Okay guys, everything is fine. Looks like the stuff is en route to Seattle.

Once it drops there, Mitch Carter (ARB's broker) will take charge of it. The shipping company will not be forwarding it anywhere.

TR's dad is the warehouse manager & shipping director at ARB, he will be assisting us.

Here's a hang-up... TR is going to be with me here in Texas all week and won't be back to work until Monday the 19th, so that week is the earliest we'll be able to break the container down and start seperating things for shipping.

That is, of course, if everything goes like clockwork...

I appreciate the offer on the shipping costs, but I haven't got a clue what they are or how we are gonna be billed.

If it's like everything else, it will be a complete surprise at the dock and they are gonna want ARB to cough up a check... I'm still waiting to find out.

Thank god we know where it is and where it will go.. Finally. The shipping costs will be paid here in Pakistan.. You will have to wire the money to me. I did not mention the costs as I did not want to burden you with more problems. I will email you the amount later today.
Thanks
Ehsan

LOL! Letting me know the amount due isn't a burden, it's something I've needed to know!

We should wait until the shipment arrives at it's final destination (whereever that will be) in good form before doing anything, in case there's further mix-up or a claim or anything.
