Yes, it got here yesterday along with a bunch of issues. Storage fees starts tomorrow because they give you two days including holidays. The paperwork from Ehsan doesn't have the correct dollar amounts, so the import fees are wrong and as a result much higher than they should be.
I need a corrected invoice from Ehsan before the Broker can enter the shipment. This all needs to happen before the $150 a day storage fees start at 5PM tomorrow.

I'll keep you posted.

Any word Alex? I was talking to the and she brought up a good point..... who is responsible for the $150 a day fees????? It shouldn't be us.... we didn't file the paperwork. Lets hope Ehsan can get the paperwork in today before the poo hits the fan

Alot of the people i deal with everyday think i am happy all the time. Something i learned in the Military is, False motivation will get you alot of stuff.

And people will think you are happy doing it. And alot of caffein will get you thru some days also.

I bet alot of people will be happy to see this is all coming together and to an end soon. Meaning we will have our stuff soon.

I got the airline to give me another day before the storage fees kicked in. I rented a $19 UHaul truck and picked it all up this afternoon. All the boxes were damaged, but I haven't found any of the contents damaged. I brought a camera with me just in case...see pics

I need to sort through all the stuff. The bad news is that I am going to Atlanta on Saturday at noon and won't be back until Sunday night. So it wont start going out until next week.

Who's coming to get this s*** out of my garage? Let me know.

If you are buying twist locks from me, I went ahead and ordered the trim rings from McMaster-Carr so I can include those too.

That sucks about the boxes but you're the man for picking all that up and dealing with the order in general. I wish I could pick mine up but I'm in San Diego so that would be one long fxxxing drive. For us shipping guys just let us know what works best for you when you get back in town and have time to sort it all out.

I put in a request for the twist locks before so that would be awesome to have the metal eyes to go with them if you still have a few left. Thanks again buddy, would love to buy you a drink sometime if you are ever out in SD.

That might be a consideration for me. The wifey and I are thinking about consolidating our s*** (stateside) and making a move to the Philippines for a couple of years.


Probably need another week or so to come to final resolution on it. I gotta make sure there's a decent beer store nearby.

How do shippers destroy boxes like that, christ, what a joke, and the assholes just laugh it off too. I got a PTO winch one time. It was pretty much the winch head and some tape and shreds of cardboard that ended up on my porch. Better yet have been body panels that I have recieved, one had 55 gal drum marks on the box, it was a Bronco tailgate, guess what, crushed.

I found some good looking grommets for the twistlocks at Sailrite, I may go with those, I'll let you know.

You can get the reinforced, larger washer, variety here, they have other types of fasteners also, neat stuff.
