They are "ready to paint" depending on how you use your rig...
1) you beat on it...they are ready
2) you like things just so...they are not ready

from past discussion ...the stuff comes over primer...but will need a lil prep to be ready to paint....as would any new product.

Shouldnt be too big of a deal...nothing major ...lil sanding, reprime spots...then prep and paint.

I would take it off your hands, expecting to pay a little extra, if someone has sold or (God forbid ) wrecked their rig. I have a 1980 / fj40. Let know if you need or want to sell. I would also consider a used one if one is available. Thanks, John Butcher

Anybody else planning on painting their bows the same color as the body of their truck? Not just the door frame area but the entire bows? I was originally just going to get the door frame area done and paint the rest rustoleum black to save some money/touch up esase but am starting to change my mind. Tried to do a search for some pics of rigs with color matched bows but didn't really find much. One guy did his in white and they look great but it's hard to tell with the white. Anybody have any other pics? Any idea on a ballpark figure on getting this done. Since I have an aftermarket rollcage that is black already, I am thinking that doing the bows the same color as the body will make it look less busy than having black tubing everywhere.

It has only been about 4 months since we placed the order, right? Seems like this one is happening pretty fast compared to past orders.

Hello there everyone..
First of all.. My apologies for a long absence. Few family issues kept me off the net. The order has been completed and we are doing the packing from tomorrow. It has taken, again, longer then I had expected but we have been having electricity problems in the country which has affected the production.
SouthBostonFJ.. Kindly let me know what way you all have decided to go.I will start the paperwork and the bank dealing as soon as I can.

Eshan, thanks for the updates man. Some people have never seen your country let alone been to / beside it so they really have no idea what life can be like over there.

And please as far as i am concerned take care of your family first. Family always comes first in my books / life.
