The adapter you get will depend on what tools you have available to install it. I would recommend one of the tapered thread adapters (1/8NPT, 1/4NPT, or 1/4BSPT). Get whatever one you have a tap for.

Just like @AirheadNut said, whichever tool tap/die set you have.

Just make sure you put the probe pre turbo for best readings.
