EGR Cleaning

I've recently made a custom plate out of a bad EGR valve to help clean out the EGR system using chemical cleaners on my FZJ80. Having done this I was thinking of doing a similar clean out of the EGR system on my 1980 FJ40 which still has to pass the smog test in my state.

I wonder if anyone has a bad or unwanted EGR valve lying around from a late 70's, early 1980 cruiser they wouldn't mind parting with for this purpose? If so, please PM me.

They say the smog test standards keep getting tighter for the older vehicles but I'm doing what I can to keep my 1980 on the road.

I have this one from an early 60 series - should be the same, no?

Thanks for the post. It turns out a local shop turned up a matching part from a box of FJ60 parts they had from the same era. I am OK now.
