I'm sorry, but who gives a flying *** where they are made? What difference will it make.

I believe they are made here in the USA because of what he has already posted earlier...

"We are making these parts from dies we have designed. I'm a Mechanical Engineer and have been a LC aficionado ever since high school.

We have the ability to produce our own dies. It is "EXPENSIVE" to do it this way but the great thing about it is that we know what works and what doesn't and can make adjustments accordingly. We can also make one of a kind pieces."

No one cares where the stuff is made, but if you missed it, the seller has been asked like 5 times where his stuff is made and he has avoided the question each time. When someone doesn't answer a direct question, it raises concern, wouldn't you agree?

EDIT: For the record, this guy's stuff looks really nice!

I've met Oscar a few years ago... great guy and his stuff looks really solid and if I ever bash my truck up, he'll be at the top of the list for finding replacement parts... especially since he's a couple miles from me.

Not sure why he is ducking the question... seems irrelevant to me if the product is solid.

I did, didn't I?? The parts are designed right HERE in the US. The company is addressed in Duluth GA. The parts that I sell for Land Cruisers FJ40 are for the US Market. Other parts for FJ43, FJ45, Patrols, etc are for non-US.
If this doesn't answer the question and want to come and see it for yourself, by all means come and visit....
All right??

but really, we all have been buying stuff made in china for the last decade or so. I may have chosen the wrong path to do it at home but I also believe that our economy needs stuff produced right here in the US if we are to survive.

Now I was born Colombia, some of my family is still there, I do the design here in the US and build some of the parts in Colombia. I can ship internationally from both places... We maintain stock parts here in the US.
Am I the only one in Colombia building tubs? I don't think so. All I can say is that Toyota of Colombia buys my stuff as well so they can sell it to their customers.

Hey Oscar, I'm probably one of your future customers and don't particularly care where your products are fabricated. The panels appear to be of high quality and you get high marks from fellow MUDers. That's good enough for me.

That said, I still don't think you provided a direct answer to the question(s). The previous posters didn't ask where your products were designed, or whether the business address was in the US of A. They asked if the panels were manufactured in Columbia. All you have to say is "Yes they're manufactured to my specs in Columbia (or Mexico, or Brazil, or Kazakhstan)," or "No, they're made right here in Georgia." Talking around the question makes you sound more like a lawyer than an engineer. :hhmm:

Keep up the good work. I'll be calling about some floor pans, soon as I get my cut of the bailout money.

designed right HERE in the US...

Emphasis on "designed"? I don't really care where they are made. I was just wondering if they have manufacturing ties (which might even be a positive) to the Heritage line, which seems in some kind of Columbian limbo?

So... do you sell a 78 FJ40 rear 2-piece sill and floor?

Pictures?

Thanks

Well stated!

Everything looks great. And it's nice to have somewhere on the East coast to buy from. BTW - my wife hates you now that I've found somewhere new to spend my money.

How much for a complete firewall for a '79 FJ40?

Thanks

firewall: $2680. I've got two available right now...

Hey, have your wife talking to my wife and everything would squared off. :D

I emailed you, but I will ask here as well.

Price on complete (drivers / pass) floorbord with captive nuts for a 76 FJ40. (similar to the one pictured above)

Thanks

Thank goodness for crying out loud. Some stuff is made here and other shiz-itt is made in Colombia. That's fine. It's just nice to see someone other than Sphincter and CCrap making these parts available. It's not worth mentioning the other tards who "manufacture" parts in this thread.

Thanks Oscar, if I can get my wifey to agree to keep the 40 (and not the Runner) then I'll be getting back with you in a while about your products. As it stands, I'm pretty impressed with your work from the interweb pics and look forward to dealing with you.

Two days until Valentines Day, I think I'll go get her something nice. :D

BTW: You haven't started making muffler bearings, have you?

:flipoff2:

Hey Oscar

I have sent you a couple emails but no response. Looking at all the questions you are getting here I can see why! I am in the market for a 3/4 tub. Either in pieces or complete. What have you got to offer? Looking at starting this rebuild real soon.

Thanks! And your stuff looks great!

Sometimes there can be good reasons for not answering a question directly, sometimes it might reveal information that is better not known by all, could be a simple comercial reason, it doesn't always mean something dodgy is going on.

Anyway as others have said, the proof is in the pudding and with MUD you have the privilege of benefiting from the experience of others.

Thousand apologies to you and all others I've missed.
I respond to as many emails as I can. I'm shooting to put the web site up for everyone to see. It is easier to point to a html link than email...

No apology needed! Like I said I can see you are overwhelmed with questions. I am eagar to make a decision. When might your website be up?

I am assuming you have several different frames to do the fitting for the captive nut locations. Since you are from Columbia, did you supply IPOR with products, or was that someone else. I think a couple other vendors has or had the "economy" line.

You should have started this about 1.8 yrs ago. Could have saved me ALOT of drilling holes...
Good Luck, and keep it as stock as you can.

Oh, I'm going to brag now. I don't do economy lines, I rather offer the capability of modifications from the get go. That's just what I would like to see if I was at the other end.
I don't supply any other sheet-metal-body-panel-provider at this time. I rather have brand recognition. This is just what its happening right now and I'm grateful to all of you.

So as far as the web site goes We're planning on opening it this Saturday night. The site will be pacolonline.com and I'll keep you all posted.
