Folks, please do not post links to ebay ads. If you want to help by posting them, then please do so in the Classified section.

If it's to poke fun at an ad, then put it in chat please.
If it's to let folks know of a deal, then keep in mind that someone here may already be watching or bidding on it and all you are doing is possibly boosting the price for them.

Regardless, please do not post ebay ads in the 80's tech section.

Thanks and :flipoff2:

I guess since now's a bad time to tell people to use the search function, you had to find something elst to nag about :flipoff2:

LOL :D, I still think you're doing a fine job!

I thinks JUNK is looking to buy something and doesn't want the price to go up. Cheap Bass-TuRD

be better to pm ebay ad to someone in particular if you know theyre looking than to post it for anyone to see in classifieds or here.

Chit chat yes ... but the rest is lame :flipoff2: :flipoff2: :flipoff2:

Ya dumbass :princess:

TY

What does this have to do with 80s?

Get this Chit Chat out of the Tech section....where's that lame moderator of ours?

Iagree with Junk with one exception. If you buy an 80/LX450 on ebay its OK to post the link to show your new toy.

No offense, but we live in the United States. We have capitalism and the free market. That is the way it works. I hope this website isn't going commie on us. If I see an awesome deal, I will share it with the board. It happens on Tundrasolutions.com all the time, and it works well. Free market. The price may get boosted above what somebody "wanted" to pay, but will generally not set itself above its new or used price value. Competition sucks, but thats what our economy is founded on.

Is this site hosted in China or North Korea?

i'd say it's just nice to other users not to boost the price on something a fellow cruiser head is bidding on. not communist. i guess that being capitalist, this site shouldn't exist, and you should have to pay for every piece of advice found on this site?

Nice thought Matador. How about coughing up for a silver star if you believe in a free market? This site isn't sponsered by the goverment. That would be communistic.
I spend a couple of hours and find a rare cruiser part that has a bad title name or a misspelling, I'm gonna be pissed if somebody posts it to the board. I spent time and effort looking for a good deal. Somebody with more money than I do will come along and outbid me without working for it. That sucks.

We don't live in a free market society. If we did I could buy a 70 series. There are lots of rules that make things fairer, or safer, or more profitable. What Junk was proposing is not unheard of on many forums. It's often just a curtisy to others more than a rule.

Please get a clue. Of course we live in a free society. You are entitled to be whatever you please :princess: , but there is a forum for posts like this and it's not in the 80's section.
