I kept mime…and promptly wiped it off the next week in Moab.Maybe a stupid question lol, has anyone tried to cut and keep the factory hitch cover with the rear bumper?
As one of the few people running AHC with this bumper, did you have to make larger cuts for it to account for low mode? My understanding is this bumper attaches to the frame while the body moves independently. Just trying to plan ahead appropriately.Bumper passed the bump test. Hells Revenge and Top of the world in Moab back to back and this is the only damage.
I may have fumbled my words here. I apologize for any confusion. Not sure what you mean? Other than about a 1/2 inch gap between the bumper and the plastic I don't see how it's any different than standard suspension. The AHC pump is frame mounted as well.
Definitely over thought it… trying to reinvent the wheelBumper moves with suspension just like the bumpers do now. Same mounting points.
