Thanks for all the replies.
As a couple of fellow members have mentioned, these housings are part of what's needed to set up a split case with the factory Toyota tcase mounted drum style ebrake assembly.
Along with this cast steel rear extension housing you'll also need the longer splined tcase main shaft, a fine spline ebrake drum ( only applicable to the split case setup ) as well as the backing plate and internal ebrake mechanical items ( shoes, springs, adjuster and other hardware ) as well as the ebrake cable.
We currently have the new OEM extension housings ( 9 of them still available right now ) along with the shafts and drums.
The extension housings are virtually impossible to find. The drums and shafts aren't easy to find but we still have a semi reliable supply of them.
We also have some used ebrake backing plates and brake internaks. These are fairly readily available.
And of course we stock all the parts to rebuild the tcase as well as gaskets, seals, bearings and other items separately.
