Why is 9/16" so hard to find? Any idea of a place I can just go get two bolts? 9/16"x4" for my front springs. WTH?

I tried Ace, Home Depot, and Lowes. They all have 1/2" then 5/8". I did not try Napa yet. Any other ideas?

OSH in Gilroy has them. OR Fastenal on Orbata in Gilroy.

I don't think Napa stocks them.

OR, if you can wait 24 hours: www.mcmastercarr.com

You mean the bolt through the spring pack? Or through the shackles?

Try Napa or Fastenal.

This is who I use. Looks like 3 1/2" is the longest they have in 9/16". It doesn't seem to be a very common size.

It seems 14MM is more common that 9/16". Found them in 10.9 in 100MM and 110MM lengths. You might try the metric route if you run into trouble with SAE.

Osh has greatly reduced their bolt selection in the last couple of months. Fastenal or another local fastener supply is your best bet.

Good point. Done. It's not _even_ worth $12 to drive down to Gilroy. I've got welding to which I need to attend.

Anyone need 3 4"x9/16" Grade 8 coarse thread bolts with Nylock nuts?

Hey John, the narrowed rear turned out sweet. If you're going to make it to Surf&Turf come by and introduce yourself. We'll be due west of the main campfire next to Skillet's white 80 with a RTT.

Or there is Olander's in Sunnyvale, might be farther than gilroy tho.

I bought mine at the local mom and pop auto part store. Might try some of the smaller auto part stores?
