anyone care to help?
i want to install duallies on my 75 and turn it into a tow vehicle but i can not find any information for 16X6 5.5 bolt pattern dually rims.
i know they must be out there somewhere?
any links?

cheers

nah, i asked him but never heard anything back ...
maybe you are closer to him than i am, want to ask him what he would suggest?

Aren't 2nd gen mini truck campers a 6 lug dually?

Wayne.... You really shouldn't be on the Internet without first taking ur meds.....

I still think putting your 75 cab on a diesel 1 ton chassis is the way to go as you get better brakes, wider track, longer wb, and a 7.3 powerstroke instead of a turbo fe ( etc, etc)

If u did custom dished dually rims On stock axles.... I think the 75 front axle is gonna be limited in bs allowed due to tie rod end, so you'd have to run different rims ft vs rear.....

No matter whAt I think it'd be a shame to butcher a (your) cherry 75 like that. Unless u were to start with a less than cherry 75 (I'll sell you the cab off of mine for $5,000)

the rear rims will be dished. the front will be stock. i have no desire to change the front rims and there is no need.
brakes are on the trailer, hence the reason for trailer brakes in the first place. the front diff, rear diff, tranny, t/case all are rated at over a 1 ton already. longer wheel base is true but not of big concern since i have seen pics of what the Oz boys pull with their cruisers.
a turbo'd, intercooled, 3F(e) will put out WAY more power than that POS dodge i have now but no where near the power of the PowerSmoke.

not sure where doubling up the rear tires equates to butchuring. it isn't like i am cutting up a cherry box to add fenders. i am not moving anything or butchuring the frame. the rear outter axles hubs and rims is all i am changing. (of course modifing the engine MIGHT be classified as butchuring since a turbo and intercooler is being added)(but then i might end up doing that part just for s***s and giggles this summer))

sheesh, not much help in this section either.

15s or 16s is what i want ... yes.

similar to this idea:
toyota dually.webp

Wayne you might try something off a small class 3 truck like the N class Isuzu sold here in Canada. The spec sheet says it has 16" tires. Whether the bolt pattern fits or not you'd have to check.

Error - Isuzu.com

Google Isuzu trucks Canada, and find their N Class specifications, the above link isn't working

I have seen duallys on a 78 series hear in oz Queensland rail has them the rear chassie has been modified (narrowed) and uses one standard rim and one custom rim I'll try and take a photo tomorrow

thanks guys.
i had an Isuzu dually and the small rims have a huge bolt spacing. but thanks.

why not custom units from a place like Stockton Wheel? they might be able to pull it off...

i have owned a ford F250 4X4 with the powersmoke and loved it.
sold it to buy a ford E350 van with the powersmoke and loved it.
then, for some reason that is beyond me, i sold it and bought a POS cummins dodge.

all this time i have had the 75 sitting here in mint condition but with no real use for it. i figured that IF i could make it tow vehicle capable then i would have a use for it and i could ditch the dodge. i only tow about 3-5 times a year my wheeling rig to what ever event is in the making.

i also thought it would be nice to have something different for a change.

Not so much info on dualys, but on a Aus forum there I think on mud to in the 4x series , he put a turbo on his 2f powered 45 troopy, shouldn't be much different to turboing a 3f,he has a good rite up and pics of conversion and problems etc, there was last time I popped in at a wreckers down the road from my work the was a 3f turbo kit for sale the guy had it on his 6x6 fj75 .

don't go out of your way for it but it would be nice to know what all is included and what the ticket is on it.
cheers
Wayne
