ds rear window only operates back switch

My drivers side rear window only opens from the switch located at the rear window. Every once in awhile, if you open and close the rear window from the rear seat switch, the window will operate from the front drivers side switch, but not reliably. I have taken both the front and rear switch assemly out and cleaned them with DeOxit contact cleaner.
Any ideas? I have searched the archives and have not found an answer, either.

I had a similar problem on the front passenger side and it required a new front DS controller, IIRC about $130.

Toyota uses the same switch in many of their cars, I have one from a Camry in my wifes 80 now........

The price I mentioned is the Cdan price. I am sure used parts would be cheaper.
