Maybe a stupid question, but I've seen driveshafts installed with the slipjoint at the pumpkin and also at the transfercase. Does it matter which end gets the slipjoint?
That's what I was thinking. With the slip shaft in the downside position I no likee the idea of the zerk that sticks out sideways spinning into a rock.
Perhaps, but then more crap can get jammed into it as well. Road debris, and mud. Higher stays out of the way more. Less @&@&@&@& falls from above where more @&@&@&@& sprays upward.
