I have gone up to Seattle auto show yesterday they had lx600 in luxury package. Was hoping to see gx or lc250 but none was present. I drive lc200 and prefer sitting upright and have a higher view of the ground and get hood line down by sitting higher and little bit more forward. I am 6.2 (186cm). So sitting in lx600 as much as liked quality and build i couldnt get good drivers visibility. If tried to sit as high as i do in lc200 my head is hitting the roof while hood line still sits very high comparing to 200 series. Am i missing something ? Can somebody compare their experience? I dont want to spend 100k and be annoyed by poor visibility. May be gx will have a bigger aquarium

It's a big hood, and my wife likes her GX visibility better than my LX. Lots of factors to weigh.

I came from a 200 and don’t have any issues with the hood and or sight lines. I tend to sit higher up as well, but I’m only 5‘ 10” (on a good day) and don’t have any issues with my head hitting the roof.

I find the visibility to be similar not that it was anything great?

But only way you can know is to measure from the floor to ceiling, floor to seat cushion.

It's a different platform so it's not going to sit the same. I noticed LX570 have less driveshaft hump in the 2nd row than some others Toyota BOF vehicles. No one wants a hump taking up space there. Not sure LX600 has kept that or has a higher hump than LC200.

Compared to older cruisers I definitely find that the hood can be annoying offroad in some scenarios when it feels like you need as much lower front visibility as you can.
However i prefer actual seating position and placement of everything in lc300 better.
I definielty understand what you mean though.
They also seem to raise the hood more on some newer cars not sure if design or also for safety pedestrian regulations.
