Alright keep me posted on the bladders, same direction I was going and went to Alibaba, talked to a couple manufacturers but they wanted like 200 units haha.... They are nice though, heavy duty. I like that the bladders are light weight, removable, etc... Ideally I'd be looking for (2), each about 9 gallons either long and skinny (width of the truck) and stack them, or side by side. One for shower, one for drinking. Have you seen the "drawers" I built? There are some things I'd change and it's a bit over the top but more important than the drawers is all the space behind them that fit the rest of these goodies. 200 Series Not-a-drawer "Drawer" Project

Toward the middle you'll see a view without the top on, electronics on the wood and water in that space where you see the carpet. At least that's the idea.

Ill let you know what I find out from smart bottle, I had messaged them a while back asking if they did custom, and they said they could, but I didn't go farther than that as there was no spec to give them.

Yeah those were the ones that set me down the path of trying to find the factory that was making them. I don't like the placement of the valves and would prob need something a little different in way of input/output. But that's the idea right there!

Re: drawer fridges, yeah I wish they made them full drawer length, fridge in the front freezer in the back! for a moment I started down the path of DIY, but gave up pretty quickly on that. On the bright side they are now on Amazon for $550 each with free shipping!!! No fridge slide needed sorta makes up for the additional cost of having to buy two.

Went exploring a bit this last weekend, about due east from Big Sur outside of King City. Was not expecting to find any trails as the trail network out this way was shut down in 2008. We found a trailhead that was open that got us in and started exploring.

The trail was a bit overgrown so I added a plethora of deep pinstripes to the cruiser, lucky I know how to run a buffer... May look into wrapping or some temporary while on trail protection so I dont end up buffing all the paint off or just accept that I bought this thing for this reason and let them fly. I dont mind them per say, however we do roll this rig as a daily usually and its nice to have it look decent. I even kept my Tacoma buffed clean of the large ones.

Couple photos from one of the peaks, I didn't take any photos of the tight bits as I was focused on driving at the moment.

Quick update on the Kenda's after the weekend.

They handled the trail great. Good traction on loose dirt / shale and high angles. Didnt have much slickrock to test on but based on how they felt I assume they will do well.

For the highway portion I found them to be well quieter than my worn Ridge Grappler that I removed, stable at speed.

They drove the sweeping twisting roads to our spot well once I got used to the truck movement on the larger sidewall tire.

Could you elaborate on the things you did to gain clearance? Specifically the bolt you mention and the heat gun. How much clearance did that give you on the fender liner? I am trying to run +0 offset 275/70/17's on my 2013 LX (normal AHC height) and am experiencing some rubbing on the mud flap and inner fender liner. I need about an 1/2 inch to an inch of clearance in the fender liner, do you think I can get that without having to trim them? Ideally I can heat them and push them to get that clearance. Let me know! Thanks bud.

Look at how the fender liner is attached at the bottom. ( In Front of the wheel). Take out the screws. Take out the zclips. Push it forward one screw hole. Cut a slot in the liner for the zclip. Secure thru existing new hole. No cutting or heating necessary.

For the rear clearance take off the flap. Look up under and see a piece of sheet metal in box shape that the mud lap used for one hole. Grab some pliers and twist it off using metal fatigue. Dollop of paint. Trim the under plastic ina way you like. Secure with zip tie if you're paranoid.

This sounds amazing! For the front, does this modification allow any road salt to enter through the fender liners? Or does it essentially function as stock but pushed back a bit? I suppose I’m asking if this causes any entrance points.

I don’t think the rear will have any issues since the wheels don’t turn.

both above for front wheel. sorry that wasn’t clear. there are some pics on my build thread as well as others. The liner is not cut, just secured farther forward.

@HGB, @grinchy got what I did basically right, however with my setup I needed to in fact use some heat despite moving the liner forward at the spot the liner is molded with a bump in it as the tires were still catching it .

I do get a small touch of rub at full lock when cross axled in reverse, but it doesnt bother me as the bumper etc is all coming off before long anyway.

Are you running a matching spare by any chance? I'm wondering if you think it's possible to stuff one of those pizza cutters in the spare location?

I tried to get one in there, no dice unless you potentially deflated it and forced it in. I am in the middle of building a low pro swing out as we speak that will not require a whole heavy rear bumper swap.
