The brass quick connects hold up well as long it is kept clean of grits. No leaks.

LSUfj, that flooring looks good too. What kind of edging will you use with it? I had also thought about waterproofing the water storage bin with something like that PVC shower liner stuff. In case the tank sprung a leak, it would still retain the water. Not quite decided on what material though.
I think it might look busy with all that edging unless the edging and the flooring were the same color.
Why not heavy visqueen?I would not put a drain. That way, if the tank did leak, the water would be collected and could still be used. Now the question is, finding liner material that will keep the water safe for human consumption.

Yeah, I think visqueen could work as long as the tank doesn't rub through it over time. Good low cost solution.
