Drained Battery and can't open door or hood

Hi, Resurrecting this thread in hopes of some guidance for popping the hood!

Yesterday, I opened the hood to add some windshield washer and I found a rat had made a home inside the engine bay. It was a huge mess and some wires were chewed, a major PITA. So I disconnected the negative battery terminal and got to work cleaning the engine bay, washing everything down and checking wires...
When I went back to the car today to check. I could not open the doors. The battery is disconnected and the physical key that I have does not turn at all inside the lock. I tried WD40 and playing around with the key. I think the previous owner might have changed the key at some point.
Any ideas as to how to pop the hood? Skid plates are off but I can't find the hood latch cable. It's probably protected behind something.

I’d be on the phone with an auto unlock service, even knowing they sometimes do damage.

I’ve had the whole front of my 200 off, I can’t think of a way to get to the cable without destroying stuff.

I gave up and called a locksmith. They opened the door in 30 seconds with one of those bladders and no damage was done.
BTW, I think I had found the cable under the hood but I could not get it to release the latch.

I’d be on the phone with an auto unlock service, even knowing they sometimes do damage.

I’ve had the whole front of my 200 off, I can’t think of a way to get to the cable without

Did you read a page or 2 earlier in this thread about applying power via a battery charger to accessible alternator lugs? That might allow the fob to work.
