I have been busy over the last couple months finishing the dash and related wiring. I bought this thing as a bare tub so it has been interesting figuring out what goes where. Mud has been great for searching for pics!

This will be built from upwards of 15 dead 40's + 45's by the time I am done. (this is the only one I currently own :) )

I have rebuilt the heater and hooked up miscellaneous stuff. I am still missing a choke and the switch for the spot lights.

Here is a pic of the dashman box and other neat dash stuff.

Awesome that you are "building something from nothing" or in other words saving cruisers and parts thereof from the crusher.

I like the idea of speaker boxes fabbed into the cab. I had my head unit in the glove box of my 81 Toy P/U also. Works great given the narrow cab and lack of dash space. Keep us posted, progress looks great,

Looking good, keep up the good work. Speaker boxes in the rear corners is a cool idea.

Funny that you decided on the Dashman box for your truck, too. I just ordered one from Mark Vickers on Friday.

You certainly have your work "cut" out for you there.:lol: I kill me sometimes.

Great work with the build up. You've insipired me to dust the cobwebs off mine and get back into it. You just have to love the fact that no matter where you stand looking at a 45 it will look good!

ok, it has been a while. I am still working on the roof section, and I hope to have it painted by the end of June.

It was a sunny day yesterday so I decided to take the frame out of storage and remove the water filled SBC and th400. This week I will mount the tub!

It has been under a car tent for about 2 years now and developed a bunch of green slime. I power washed it and it looks new again.
