I recently put new door weatherstripping and have these pieces but I'm not sure how to install them. m top bow either doesn't look like the one in the pictures from @Racer65 website or I can't see how that goes. Can anyone help me out?

I think I figured it out or at least I did it this way.
I had to glue on the side onto the windshield part with the other part left unglued so that I can slide the bow top into it. Which was just a little tricky but I think it turned out ok.

This is the best site. Someone has usually been down the road you are going down and was nice enough to post their travels. How did this hold up the way you installed it? I have a terrible whistle and I think the cause is that gap. Gonna try to put these on this weekend. Thanks!

It's still holding up so far. I think the key is just to make sure to get that 3M adhesive tacky enough before setting it. Good luck.

Tackling this, as well. Did you have to remove the bow above the door to get the edge of the bow into the weatherstripping groove?

I still have not got around to doing this. Life sometimes gets in the way. Soon!

Curious when these started? Can't find a listing for them. Same with the door header itself. I know around 1980 the header
changed to overlap the windshield frame.
This is out of a 84 HJ47.

I have a couple of sets I pulled out of wrecking year over twenty years ago and possibly back to the mid nineties. Those were 1980 models.
