Door Thickness???

Just curious if the earlier style doors are the same thickness at the front as the later style. The hard doors without wing windows that came with my rig (not installed) hit the front roll cage post. Maybe the earlier ones were not as wide at the front and would give me the clearance. If not, I guess I will be selling my hardtop and just running the soft top.

I don't know the actual measurements, but yes, the earlier thin doors are thinner everywhere. I had the same issue when trying to cut down a pair of thick doors to fit onto my 69 with a 4x4labs cage. The thin doors clear inside, but the thick doors don't.

While I was still building the Quik Hinges myself I used those rusty old thick doors to use as a jig to clearance the back side of the hinge door halves.

So will the earlier doors work with all of the parts of a later hardtop, or do I have to find an entire earlier hardtop?
