Hmmm. Too bad you didn't order them from a fellow mudder.....![]()
Or was this for your 80?
I had read through most of the thread and didn't see that someone on here was selling them?
And this is for my 2001 100. I just sold the 80 a week or so ago. I need to update my sig
Well strangely enough, now my DS door is working again? haha.
Just helped a friend do his '04 driver's door. Can confirm that it is pretty easy to dremel the shaft. It's pretty soft, and the dremel makes quick work of it. Used the trick from the Lexus forum to suspend the actuator with the collar in some wire cutters (with the cutters holding the collar), then using a small punch on the shaft tip to push the motor down away from the collar.Yes. The actuator I have in stock works on all years of the 100 series (as well as several other models). The motor is plug-and-play for 1998-2003 and requires a 5 minute mod (remove brass collar and dremmel a bit) for 2004-2007. See post #154

Mine was very temperature sensitive. Cooler temps = no problem, hot = gotta use the key in the lock...Has anyone had their DS door actuator stop. As in you could try unlocking and locking via remote or door button, and would not work at all for a day or so, then all the sudden start working as normal, (not sluggish at all)???
Mine did this. I already went ahead and bought two motors (while it was not working, ha)
Does somebody know links of shops, who sale that motor?
Hi friends! Help me, pleas, to find motor for my door actuator, where can I book it? I mean motor, about what this topic was started. Sorry for my English, I'm not native English speaker, but I hope that I'm understandable... Does somebody know links of shops, who sale that motor? Will very happy to receive your assistance.
I have a 2007 FJ Cruiser. This year both power locks have slowly died. At first they were going half way but would open/close after a couple of tries. Now they both dont react at all when I use the power lock. The electromechanic said its the actuator and I found this thread. Does the actuators offered here work on a FJ Cruiser?
The dealer was quoting $248 per door on parts, without including labor.
Any help??
Never mind, I believe I have figured it out. Shell is in the oven as we speak to loosen it up. Fingers crossed!
congrats, not to try to scare you but the hard part for me was putting it all back in.
Hey Jon,
It looks like I bought the motor WITHOUT the copper holder on the end of the shaft... Son of a gun! Do you still have some for sale? 2003 Lexus LX 470.
Thanks,
Paul
