I had read through most of the thread and didn't see that someone on here was selling them?

Yes. The actuator I have in stock works on all years of the 100 series (as well as several other models). The motor is plug-and-play for 1998-2003 and requires a 5 minute mod (remove brass collar and dremmel a bit) for 2004-2007. See post #154

Just helped a friend do his '04 driver's door. Can confirm that it is pretty easy to dremel the shaft. It's pretty soft, and the dremel makes quick work of it. Used the trick from the Lexus forum to suspend the actuator with the collar in some wire cutters (with the cutters holding the collar), then using a small punch on the shaft tip to push the motor down away from the collar.
Honestly, the hardest part of this is the removal of the white plastic shield over the cables between the actuator assembly and the interior door handle. I used gentle heat from a heat gun to soften things up, but the clips aren't easy to remove.
Has anyone had their DS door actuator stop. As in you could try unlocking and locking via remote or door button, and would not work at all for a day or so, then all the sudden start working as normal, (not sluggish at all)???

Mine was very temperature sensitive. Cooler temps = no problem, hot = gotta use the key in the lock...

This saved me some $$$, as it would have been a costly dealer job, and now have a functioning front passenger side lock! I was able to remove the actuator housing from the lock assembly without removing the whole lock assembly from the door panel. Getting it back together was challenging in that tight space, but worked like a charm.

Hi friends! Help me, pleas, to find motor for my door actuator, where can I book it? I mean motor, about what this topic was started. Sorry for my English, I'm not native English speaker, but I hope that I'm understandable... Does somebody know links of shops, who sale that motor? Will very happy to receive your assistance.
I found some on e-bay, but not sure about the quality. Other than that the only vendor I found was one out of China that only sells in large quantities, which is why I did a group buy originally. Since then another member has purchased some to have on hand for sale to Mud members; check out his thread. That gives you two options... the only two I know of.

This past June my driver's door lock went on the fritz and i wasn't looking forward to spending big dollars to fix it. Then i stumbled upon this thread and 7 dollars and 2.5 hours later my door lock is fixed.
I do have a 2005 so i had to mod the motor shaft that had the brass fitting. That process took about 3 min on the bench grinder.
The part that took the most time was trying to get the case to separate without breaking. I heated it up in the oven for ultimately 12-13 minutes before the glue somewhat released. (170*) lowest temp for my oven. The rest of it went without a hitch.
All of the suggestions on taking the door apart and the motor mod were very helpful.

I have a 2007 FJ Cruiser. This year both power locks have slowly died. At first they were going half way but would open/close after a couple of tries. Now they both dont react at all when I use the power lock. The electromechanic said its the actuator and I found this thread. Does the actuators offered here work on a FJ Cruiser?

Pull a door apart and try to remove one of the actuator assemblies. Use the pics in this thread as a guide. If the actuator looks similar or the same as the one for the 100s send me a pic, I'll send you one to test. Look at my actuator sales thread (linked in my sig) for pics and dimensions of the actuators. I'm very interested to see if this will work.

Sure! PM sent. Also a note for others, the actuator I sell works for all years. The collar is easily removable and takes all of 2 minutes.
So I performed this fix on my passenger side a couple months ago and ever since I did it, when I unlock the doors, the motor inside there makes this LOUD buzzing noise. I thought it would go away but it didnt, and then I decided to wait until I replaced the front door speakers, since they are blown, to fix it. I thought that maybe the cable was binding or something and causing the motor to keep spinning. Well I took it apart today and thought that I "unbound" the cable, put everything back together, and it still makes this awful LOUD buzzing noise when unlocking the doors! I mean it sounds like its electrocuting someone. Any ideas?
