I just googled, "door lock mini dc motor" and the Club Lexus - Home started popping up all over and then on to Ebay.

I hope it works. My door lock is driving me crazy.
Thanks! I read your response, did the same and boom! They're on the way!

Is that the price for 1? If so, these have skyrocketed in price. I checked my eBay history, I got 5 of them for $24.71 in April of '23.
It’s the price for one when they include the collar and the gear and advertise to an end user. Buying the “blank” motors and removing the parts off the old motors still costs about five bucks a motor… but might take a couple tries when people link the wrong motors. This happened to me the first time. I bought five motors from a link on mud and they were not the correct diameter shaft so the parts would not swap. In that case, I disassembled and cleaned the motor and it’s been working perfectly for about eight months now, and through a cold winter.

Just ordered 4 from amazon for $20 - looking forward to giving this a go this weekend.

Those didn't work in my '00 LC or my '02 LX.
You needed these ones...

I would double check if they work in the '06.

Phewf I got lucky! The amazon ones with the flat D shaft worked for my '06. I did the driver door this past weekend. Part of me is wondering if someone had already been in there once before? Worm drive on my '06 was plastic. Slid right onto the shaft. New motor works like a charm.

what glue are you all using to glue the case back together?
I used dabs of super glue in a few spots - but we'll see how that holds up... one day down and holding firm!

Super glue? Get ready to redo those. You need a strong epoxy.

Yeah was too excited to slap things back together and see it all working. As per usual I'll learn this lesson the hard way I'm sure :) Will try some 2-part epoxy for the rest.

My driver's door finally decided to start acting up, got the motor replaced no problem, but 26 year old brittle plastic didn't fare so well, I've dug around but don't see these called out separately for part numbers.

Need part #'s for the following photos. One is the door handle rod clip that attaches to the actuator and connects to the door handle- and the other is the big white plastic piece that guides the cables. ( mine snapped when I removed it ) I know I need the rod clip, but how necessary is the white plastic guide ?

Any help would be greatly appreciated as to where to find these.

Looks like a bad day for lock repairs. You can get the rod clip off Amazon, pack of 10 for cheap. I will say also, well worth plugging the motor in to power before you glue/button everything back up only to find the motor doesn't work.

White plastic pieces are: 6972560030 RH and 6972660030 LH.
Most sites say "out of production." Looks like Valdosta Toyota can get them.

Hopefully save someone some time if they break the rotating plastic lock clip that holds the opener rod, you can get replacements on Amazon super cheap, but make sure you get ones that fit a 7mm hole (5mm rod) NOT 8.5mm hole.

Wow, Chinese stainless steel looks just like US plastic. Who knew?

did you ever figure this out?

Now that summer is here (sun/heat) I am planning on new Aisin door lock assemblies from RockAuto as well. From what I understand the front passenger actuator is the one that is also used in the rear hatch door lock assembly. Not the entire assembly itself but the black box that is removed from the assembly and contains the motor. Unfortunate that this can't be ordered separately.
