Looking for front passenger door latch/lock mechanism and hinge pins that hold back seat top and bottom together Thanks.

Gonna search for one if these this weekend in my parts stash, anyone else have one of these for @thorls1977 if I strike out.

Sounds like it’s going on a 68, not sure difference between the years.

Well, back on the hunt. Classic Cruisers doesn't have one and @grayjs is not able to check at present. Sooo anybody? Mis typed earlier I need pins that hold seat bottom to floor

Thanks for trying but that is the newer style. There is a groove/dent in the top on this one. The older style is round across the top of the whole piece. Again, I very much appreciate the effort.

Have you tried McMaster Carr for the hinge pins?

The 3" shaft length was to the middle of the taper +/-

This one might be a tad long but would certainly work:

Perfect, thank you very much! I am going to take latch mechanism out of the door tomorrow and see if it can be repaired.

Ohhh, THOSE hinge pins...
I looked in a spare pieces bin, found one so far. I have more places to look.
Wouldn't an M8 bolt work?

Yes, an M8 will work and is my back up plan.

Success! The newer style latch mechanism will substitute for the old style. Had to adjust striker a little too.

If anyone is reading this the new style latch did not work. Door would close and latch safely but after only a dozen shuts(?) the striker was making a notch in the new latch housing and was destroying it. So I cleaned , lubricated and flipped an arm/lever around inside the old latch and got it to function again. I also adjusted striker and now door closes and latches perfectly. It is a good thing too, because I was never able to scare up an "old style latch".
