head gaskets hurt more than words for 200 ownersSticks and stones may break my bones (rear diff), but words shall never hurt me
If you are in the cruiser outfit business you are going to love the 250 and talk it up. Remains a Prado and a poor incarnation of it’s predecessors.
So how did Chevy make the ZR2 Bison edition with thick steel bumpers?Legal liability - to start.
That's a huge chunk of heavy metal that will cause serious damage to any person, animal, etc. I'm sure these bumpers are contrary to a dozen limitations that manufacturers have to abide by.
Local laws will vary, but manufacturers have to make vehicles that can be sold in as many markets as possible.
20k will get you pretty much fully fitted out on a 200 (second gas tank, suspension, tires, recovery gear, front and rear bumpers, etc.), but 20k for just a front bumper to take the rig off road is nuts.guess 300 series bunper costs more than my Lamborghini SVJ bumper?
its ok for 200 guys to spend 20k in mods
but if a 300 needs the same mods not to be a Highlander - lexus should have provided it?
you guys with all your hate are funny
Looks awesome, but isn’t it around 20k for that front bumper? Why would Lexus not offer that from the factory in their off-road (overtrail) model?
head gaskets hurt more than words for 200 owners
I believe that’s the quote someone got for a front and rear bumper installation in the past, but they could be dropping in price if there’s competition entering the market (slee, etc.)
Point being, why can’t Lexus offer an off-road body for an off road model? Is that so hard to do? The 300 is already being manufactured anyway so why not use that front end? Just like how the pre-2016 LX’s largely used the LC design.
Don't know. I am not an instagrammer.20k will get you pretty much fully fitted out on a 200 (second gas tank, suspension, tires, recovery gear, front and rear bumpers, etc.), but 20k for just a front bumper to take the rig off road is nuts.
Don't bring facts into this forum.Water pumps, radiators, motor mounts, steering racks, rear axle, bearings, CDL actuators, open diffs, valley plates and fuel economy are the hurt words for 200 Series owners![]()
Uhoh... you putting @Zill to the fact test....$20k for front AND rear bumpers is very different than $20k for a front bumper. ........ I’ll ping Ben and ask.
No idea, I don't follow Chevy products. So how did Chevy make the ZR2 Bison edition with thick steel bumpers?
Haha - my guess is it should be in the ballpark. There’s not many 600’s out there so they need to have large margins to make it worthwhile.Uhoh... you putting @Zill to the fact test....
Just the front and does that include installation? From Ben. That bumper is $3500-4000 depending on configuration. That makes waaaay more sense.
not 20k?!!!!!!!!!From Ben. That bumper is $3500-4000 depending on configuration. That makes waaaay more sense.
is your 20k same fake news as the 250 hatred?Haha - my guess is it should be in the ballpark. There’s not many 600’s out there so they need to have large margins to make it worthwhile.
It was on a YouTube video a while back and I can’t seem to find it.
And sorry for the fake news. Thinking back, it was the front AND rear bumper installation (not just the front).
Still though, if it comes out to any where near 20k, that’s one hell of a price tag for some bumpers.
Just the front and does that include installation?
you must be fun at parties….Now we just need a solution for the 17.9 gallon fuel tank.
