With all these crosses, it sounds like there's a poodle out there who knows how to work it, and he don't discriminate.

"The lower the standards, the higher the average, eh ladies?"

That stereotypical show dog groomed look on that poodle is why poodles are thought of as whoosy dogs. The truth is they are athletic, smart, obedient, and don’t shed. The same goes for any puppy from a mom or dad that has some poodle linage mixed with whatever breed the other parent is. I recommend at least two at a time.

Haha oh I know, they're great dogs.

Particularly the standards...but the dog show version is just too damn funny...

I was actually looking for a pic of a pimping poodle, but that one looks like it probably gets laid a lot, so I went with it. 🤣

There's one just down the road from me always lies on the edge of the lawn, watching traffic.

I used to worry it'd get run over, but 7 years and counting it's hung out there.

Tonight Alabaster didn’t want to jump off the driver’s seat in my 40. She’ll be two next week, and has seen snow before. She looked down at the ground as though it was covered in lava and climbed onto my shoulders rather than jumping out.

From a previous snow fall…

She loved it then… and again now.

It was a very sad day yesterday. My Joey dog of 14 years went for the eternal sleep gracefully and sudden on the lunar eclipse after a final salmon supper. Best dog EVER!

We’ve got about 16” overnight. Some of the drifts are over 2’ deep and all the dogs want to do is play… our 2 year old more than the 10. After a while the 10 year old comes in and lies down… while the 2 year old just wants to go play in it more.

Not much to see. Apparently she doesn’t have heat vision… :D
