Where was your top picture taken? Looks a lot like south interior bc where I grew up.
Where? I worked for the Invermere Forrest district for 5 months. Covered all the back roads from Golden to Canal Flats. I worked for the RO of engineering looking after all the Forrest Service Roads (& decommissioned FSR) in the area. I loved the area… hand digging 3’ deep holes 75 km off the highway not as much (but I was 18 and up for it). :D

I grew up near Midway BC. The picture above looks similar to Kettle/Granby/Boundary river valleys.

Funny how when it comes to dogs, everyone has a type.

Always been the black and whites for my family.

Until we somehow ended up with two minis.

Aka window goats.

Next one will probably be a border collie again. Hopefully not for quite a few years tho. The blonde is just over 2 and the blue more like 6.
So the line of succession has some mileage.

Picture looks somewhat familiar. If the cat wasn’t there she’d be staring out the windows instead.

Or sitting on the cabinet behind the couch.

Great photo. Love it when dogs and cats get along. Our guy came from a shelter where he was the only dog, and there we're probably 50 or so cats; he thinks they're his best friends. Makes me wonder why humans can't get along with other humans!

Our dog Django needs quite a bit of persuading to go out when it's raining, which is quite often in Squamish. Considering that he has spent about 7 years in the Okanagan and 3 in Calgary where it's a heck of a lot drier, that's no surprise. He can hold it like no other dog or person I know!

Yeah, that cartoon made me chuckle because I could relate with our dog too. But like yours she's actually pretty darn good at holding it.

If I really want her to go, I get the laser pointer out and race her around the back yard to get things moving. She squats pretty fast then...haha.
