I tried it once and thought I was gonna have a heart attack. I will never try any of those energy drinks ever again.

Now I'll go check those links.

1. meh. not impressed. especially after listening to him speak.

2. still not impressed. i don't see the skill involved here. give me the same jump set-up, same truck, i could do the same thing.

Yes.

It has made me crazy.

You're crazy if you spend perfectly good money on that nasty chit:rolleyes::meh:

I guess my generations coffee is Red Bull or Monster energy drinks. That being said nothing starts the party like a Jager bomber or four.

ditto - it's the potassium

I'll stick with Dr. Pepper. That dude has a degree, unlike Mr. Pibb.;)

I am skeptical. I'll spell that the long way.
I am all too high strung as it is. In my day, the thing was crank, or speed. The really bad drug. I have a real hard-on about that drug. I am ready to shoot anyone caught with it. I had ready access to it, yet I rarely used it. I have a little problem seeing this as being even a bit different. It is legal, but how is it really different? A Red Bull is really just a rush!
In my 20's, I was really into the things that interested me. I didn't need the drugs, legal or not. I did them anyway, but on a low level. I mostly got off on the real matters of life that I was into. I ran fast off-road cars all too fast. I pushed the limits. But I didn't push them too far!
These new energy drinks and other things make me scared. They seem so simple. They are not too threatening. But they are as addicting as hard drugs are. They scare me as much as hard drugs did in my day. Anything that makes a man feel invincible, leads to a man becoming dead in my book! The loss of reason is not acceptable.
I prefer not to see good people getting dead without a good reason.

I like a Red Bull every once in awhile, but it doesnt make me feel invincible, and where did you hear its addicting as hard drugs? "Good people getting dead?", are we still talking about energy drinks? or "other things?" Your post is quite a stretch..for me anyway.

I am a little too high-strung on a good day. View the fact that I am still up now. I have to run a business in the AM. I view any kind of stimilant with suspicion. I naturally have more than enough. I even avoid coffee most of the time!
It's just my personality at work. Many of those who I have known to be overstimulated have been risks to society, but that does not mean that all stimilants are bad.
I just avoid them personally. I have no need for them.
At the end of the day, I am more likely to need a STOP sign than a pick-me-up. Note the time of this post!
I'll be up by 8 AM, ready for another 12-16 hour day. It is scary!
