after searching far and wide I was finally so relieved to find Onur and get his help. Recently I have not been able to get in touch with him. Has anyone else had this experience. I have about 2-3k in parts I need to order. I really like the guy I hope he is doing ok. Part of me is hoping he is just been on a super super long overland trip.

He spends the vast majority of his time and resources looking after a large commercial client.

Did you ever call him? His phone number is in his sig line.

I don't see why someone should have to try multiple methods of communication just to give a vendor their business.

It depends.

The better someone is at his/her chosen profession, the busier they tend to be.

As a buyer you pays your money and takes your pick.

Beno commented in a thread a few months ago that he was not taking on new customers via ih8mud.
It was just a single comment, no more explanation, so make of it what you will.

One can only take "Tell me how to fix it and give me the part numbers so I can find them cheaper on the internet" so many times before he says the hell with it.

He was not necessarily the cheapest but I loved the service I got from him, he is good people, nothing like dropping him and email saying I need this or talking to him on the phone and next thing you know 5 boxes show up on your door nicely packed!

There is something to be said about good service these days in the world we live in, good things come to those who wait.

The guy is literally on another level as far as landcruisers go. I told him he should charge $250 an hour for his time consulting on landcruisers. I have been trying to get in touch with Him for a while we had worked together before but idk I figure he is just busy as he has something so unique to offer the world

Thing is that he isn’t a vendor anymore, at least not on here.

Totally understandable, especially now you have left him to carry the NA Landcruiser world on his shoulders solo. :D
The guy gets tagged in a huge number of threads.

If you have the skills and knowledge to repair a landcruiser, you've got the knowledge to find part numbers via partsouq etc

I agree with this. All the info you need is out there, just a question of doing the work to find it.

With places like Partsouq and Megazip it's never been easier to source your own parts, even the parts that would be considered obscure in North America. Partsouq gets parts to me faster than my local dealership can.
