97 Hdj81 alternator and 24v starter rebuild parts

Anyone with an hdj81 that's done these rebuilds and can provide a list of parts I should be replacing?

Alao I looked for new alternator brushes and came up with nothing?

How did you search? the brushes are available. I think they call them "brush holder" or something like that. atleast brushes for the alternator and atleast contacts for the starter, thats the two things that have the most trouble. but i don't know the story on why your rebuilding it so its hard to say. i put all new bearings in my alternator but the old ones perfect, kind of a waste.

You replace the parts that are worn or damaged. So how can we tell when you don't post any symptoms?
