do you consider the 100 to be a good looking suv ?

When I see a 200, it still takes me a few moments to rule out it as a Highlander. :) That said, I would love to own one.

Growing up, the shape of the 80 alone is what I fell in love with. Even now whenever I see one, it's excitement all over again. When I got into the Cruiser Culture, it wasn't hard to have admiration for each series.

The 100 is my first cruiser, and I think they look great. 60/62 is classy. 40 series is Vito Corleone. 70 series is Arnold. 80 series is Michael Jordan. LR's reliability...well that leaves Fredo.

Plain Jane. Nothing special about the looks at all. Even the 80's tend to look a bit bland (although IMO looks better than the 100). 60's look classic, and 40's are just awesome.

Driving/Performance wise, reverse that order.

After driving a stock 80 (on-road), I wanted to vomit. I'm sure they're beasts off-road, though.

Personally I think the 100 Series is one sexy beast when modded up tastefully... In stock form they look good but with the right equipment installed they are sweet rigs...

35's look good on a near stock 100.

My simple mind lumps beauty with respect so I view the 100 with admiration - it's hmmm majestic. So capable and comfortable, strong yet supple. mmm I'm in love. And I haven't seen enough 200's around here to be able to tell them from the new Sequoia. Loved my '96 LX450, prefer the look over the 100, but no comparison in drivability and comfort. Never was a 60 fan, love the 40's as an RV, can't see it as a daily driver for me tho. Ditto on the Range Rover's - good lookin'.

A little soft looking... The 80 is the perfect blend of rugged and refined.

What he said...

edit: But the 100 is a nice looking machine. Like Garth said, I hated it when it first came out, the 80 was my first love. But it kept growing on me. Now I love it almost as much. Maybe more since I've basically raised my family in it and it has much more sentimental value than any of my 80s. The 200 is still a pig to my eyes, but, predictably, it's growing on me as well.

I'm actually thinking of putting my 100 back to stock and building up the G-Wagen instead. May have some take off pieces in the classifieds soon...

I think they all end up being classic!

I like 40, 60, 80, 100......200 is growing on me, but only the Land Cruiser in 200....not a fan of the Lexus version. My 2 cents.

Well said.

Conservatively styled, nothing overdone, I kinda like it not being the flashiest thing on the road (no over done chrome sh*t like all the domestic makes are doing with their vehicles), I've always liked the looks, ever since we got it in 98 and it has aged well over time, people still can't believe the thing is 13 years old now.

Like someone said earlier, the Range Rover is a wonderful-looking vehicle but I'd never buy one seeing how it'd spend more time in my driveway or at the dealership!

Just my .02

Head over to the "100s to cruise Moab" Thread. I loved that each hundy there was modified up a little differently. They all looked great!
